Collection 2000 SkyLash Waterproof mascara, MUA Undressed eye palette, MUA nail varnishes in Pistachio Ice Cream, Natural Days and Frozen Yoghurt, Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro nail varnishes in Marine Blue and Purple Rain, Real Techniques Core Collection brushes, Rimmel Fix and Perfect Pro Primer 002.

Hi again! I thought i'd finish the blog posts for this week with my make up purchases. After reading great reviews on the Real Techniques make up brushes i thought i'd treat myself and buy the core collection. These particular brushes are suitable for foundation, blusher and even for applying lipstick and come with a cute carry case so i'm very excited to start using them! In addition to these, i wanted to try a new primer and with Rimmel's Fix and Perfect Pro Primer costing a mere five pounds i thought i'd give it a go. I have to say, whilst it does make my skin extremely soft, i don't think it makes my foundation last any longer so i don't think i'd purchase it again.
I've also been looking for a new budget-friendly eye shadow palette and the MUA Undress Me one is perfect. A much cheaper version of the Urban Decay Naked palette, it includes the same shade palette and a double ended brush for £4! A must have! I also bought MUA's new candy coloured nail varnishes. They're so summery and with the current 3 for 2 offer on MUA products i couldn't resist. I will definitely be buying more MUA make-up in the future for sure.  Fingers crossed they last as long as the Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro nail varnishes, which i also highly recommend.
I also invested in Collection 2000 SkyLash waterproof mascara, which i love. In spite of my hayfever, i no longer get panda eyes and so it deserves a thumbs up from me.
Well, I'm officially broke now until my birthday but i'm really happy with my new purchases. As long as the weather stays sunny and there's no more thunder I'll be a happy girl.

  1. I swear by and live by my real techniques brushes! (not to sound like I'm part of a cult or anything!) They've worked extremely well for me - the eyeshadow brush is also a good investment :) MUA is great too! I have their 'heaven and earth' palette and I agree that its incredible how much they pass for Urban Decay! You've picked up some great beauty buys here for the feel good factor, completely worth it! x

  2. That's great to hear! I was thinking of buying an eyeliner brush too but the reviews are mixed for the RT fineliner brush. I know, i love MUA. It's one of the cheapest brands and they still produce high quality products x
